Sandra Rios Sotelo holds a master´s degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana – UNINI Puerto Rico (UNINI). She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from UCA Managua, Nicaragua. She has also a Postgraduate course in English for Specific Purposes with emphasis on Tourism and a Postgraduate course in Writing Pedagogy. She is currently an Instructor and a Coordinator of the English Language Development in the Department of English at UNAN-Managua.

Ma. Erasmo Antonio Tórrez Herrera. Master in Methodology and Didactics of the Higher Education, Specialist in Curriculum Design and Cooperative Learning. Experience in teaching English since early stages, preschool, Middle School, high school, and University campus. Research Advisor in Health areas, laws and Humanistic areas. English Teacher in the High Education at UNAN Managua since 2010. English Major Coordinator for the Online Program/ English Department. Curriculum designer and Methodology asesor/ Distance and Virtual Education Department.

Professor in the Department of English, has been teaching at UNAN since 2010. Prior to joining the UNAN faculty, he was a high school educator for six years at Instituto Nacional Rosendo Lopez in Rivas, 2007-2012. He completed his M.A. in Applied Linguistics and TESOL at Southern Illinois University in the United States of America in 2016. At UNAN, he has taught integrated and communicative English courses, Didactics, Language Testing, Applied Linguistics, and has developed the postgraduate TEFL certification courses. He received his B.A. in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from UNAN in 2007.

She has worked as a teacher in the Department of English since 2014 and has taught Integrated English, Grammar, Oral Communication, and Pronunciation courses. She completed her M.A. in TESOL at Sothern Illinois University, Carbondale in the United States of America and received her B.A. in Education concentrated in English from UNAN-Managua. Prior to joining the UNAN faculty, she worked in other institutions where she taught English to students of different age range (children from 3-12, teenagers, and adults) and levels (beginning, intermediate, and advanced). She has participated as a presenter in national conferences organized by the National Association of English Teachers (ANPI) and as a facilitator in trainings given to English teachers of Nicaragua sponsored by the Ministry of Education (MINED).

Ricardo Mendieta from Nicaragua holds a B.A. in Education with a concentration in English as a Foreign Language from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Nicaragua, Ruben Dario Campus in UNAN-MANAGUA.  Mr. Mendieta also holds a Certificate of Study from the United States Institute for Secondary Educators, in Chicago, Illinois.  He has worked as an EFL teacher for eighteen years and has taught communicative English courses and English for specific purposes courses.  Currently, he is working at UNAN – MANAGUA as a teacher trainer in TEFL and is a member of the staff of the English Department.

Geraldine Abril Lopez Darce holds a master´s degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana – UNINI Puerto Rico (UNINI). She has also a Postgraduate course in English Language Methodology and a Postgraduate course in Writing Pedagogy. She is currently an Instructor and a Coordinator of Professional Development in the Department of English at UNAN-Managua.

Teacher of the English Language Department at the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua-Managua (UNAN-Managua), Campus Rubén Dario. Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Teaching English as a foreign language; organized by the UNAN-.Managua and the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN;). She participated a semester in an exchange program at the USN-Norway University. She has served as a pedagogical partner and teacher trainer on the English program for the Ministry of  Education of Nicaragua (MINED). Presenter of English Teaching subjects at the annual conferences organized by the National Association of English Professors (ANPI) and UNAN-Managua. Among his academic interests are Didactics of English and multimodal texts for Teaching.
